Emmanuel Community Church Nursery has again been graded “Good” by Ofsted on our most recent inspection on 2nd March 2023.
We have consistently been graded “Good” at all our Ofsted inspections, and work hard to continually improve and raise standards as Ofsted continues to raise the bar.
Comments from the report include:
- The manager and staff have a vision for the pre-school and have high expectations of what they want the children to learn. The manager is reflective of the learning environment. She ensures children have room and space to play and explore.
- Children make good progress from their starting points, particularly children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
- Children have secure relationships with staff. Children arrive happy and ready to start their day.
- The manager and staff have a good understanding of safeguarding and how to keep children safe.
- The pre-school works closely with parents, informing them of what the children are learning, so this can be continued at home. Parents state that they feel fully included in sharing their child’s nursery experiences.
