Provision for Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Emmanuel Community Church Nursery is an inclusive setting. We have worked with many children and their families over the years who have had additional needs. These have included

learning difficulties, language impairment, global delay, speech delay, heart condition, hearing difficulties, Autistic spectrum disorder, serious allergies, emotional needs, asthma, severe dietary needs, eczema, sickle cell aneamia, social development impairment, epilepsy, challenging behaviour, cerebral palsy and Down’s Syndrome.

We work closely with families and other agencies to provide the best care and education possible. Our aim is always to meet the needs of each individual child in our care.

Yasmeen Nawaz is the staff member with responsibility for Inclusion – Special Educational Needs and Disability.
