Vision, Values & Ethos

Vision Emmanuel Community Church Nursery is a department of Emmanuel Community Church International, and is part of their vision to “serve the community relevantly.”

Our vision is: To provide high quality childcare and education for families in the locality of Emmanuel Community Church.

Aims and Objectives. The Emmanuel Community Church Nursery operates within a Christian ethos. It aims to:

• provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment which promotes a caring attitude and respect for each other, living things and property.

• provide high quality care and education for children below statutory school age;

• work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop;

• offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.

The Nursery has strong links to the church and all its officers on committee are, or have been, church members.

Values: We are committed to making the Nursery welcoming, friendly and inclusive to children and families of all faiths or none. Our core values are taken from Galations chapter 5 verses 22-23:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
